What to do:

Dancers interested in auditioning must register online PRIOR to May 15th! Dancers should arrive 10 minutes prior to their audition time (no earlier). Student should check in at the front desk to receive an audition number, which should be worn the entire audition.  Dancers should remember they are being observed from the minute they enter the studio until the moment they leave - this is a time to act with professionalism as attitude and ability to follow directions will affect placement results.

What to wear:

For company auditions, dancers should wear form fitting professional dance wear (leotard, dance shorts/leggings).  For crew auditions, dancers may wear tank tops/sports bras, sweatpants, etc. to show off their personalities.  Hair must be pulled away from the face in a clean bun or low ponytail.  Dancers should bring all styles of dance shoes for the audition to be well prepared (ballet/pointe, tap, jazz, & contemporary for company auditions, tennis shoes for crew auditions).

What to expect:

All auditions are closed! No spectators will be allowed in the audition rooms. Instructors will be unavailable for questioning outside of the designated Zoom parent meetings in order to keep auditions running smoothly and on time.  Results will be posted online by Monday June 2nd following our recitals.  Please refrain from contacting Duet staff with any questions or concerns related to audition result. Once placements are posted, dancers must turn in their company contracts and intensive fees by Saturday June 7th in order to reserve their spot in company and crew.
